Leader Dogs for the Blind, one of the nation’s oldest training facilities for service dogs for the blind, needed to develop new revenue sources by building a larger, younger donor file to achieve future revenue goals.
Since revenue was their goal, H&J first focused its efforts on building their donor base. Packages we tested were simple and low cost, with a copy approach that was both warm and personal.
H&J List Services helped implement a plan of extensive list testing, which identified health and animal causes as the best sources of donors.
Our initial tests have exceeded expectations: in 24 months, the organizations's donor base was doubled at a breakeven cost.
