The Direct Marketing Association of Washington has awarded three Marketing Awards for Excellence and Innovation (MAXIs) to Huntsinger & Jeffer, a national Direct Marketing Agency located in Richmond, Virginia.
The awards were presented during the 2007 AFP/DMAW Bridge Conference in Washington, DC on July 8, 2007.
All three awards are for fundraising campaigns H&J has spearheaded for its nonprofit clients. The winning packages are:
- Leader Dogs for the Blind – Picture Essay.
- Volunteers of America – Winter Emergency Appeal.
- Humane Society of Baltimore County – Valentine Package.
The Maxi Awards are presented by the DMAW to those direct marketing projects that exemplify the highest levels of creativity and performance. In the judging process, equal weight is given to the quality of the creative and to the actual fundraising results the package achieved.
Company president Victoria Lester said, “All of us at H&J take tremendous pride in the important work our clients do for their communities and the nation. We consider it our privilege to serve them. So it is especially gratifying when our work is singled out for recognition by our peers in the industry.”
